Prom event planning, how to...
Every high school has a prom committee, usually the juniors, that plans the prom for the seniors. Some high schools have gotten smart and started the year before and some have even gotten smarter by bringing on a team of professionals to assist in some aspects of prom so that its not so difficult. Of course it depends upon your budget and typically how big the school is… that said, here are some of the things we have helped some of Colorado’s high school with for prom planning.

Starry Night
Paris
New Orleans, we had floats, a parade, a tarot card reader and lots of fun.
80s theme party, I know, right?!?!
White Party
Old West
Casino Night
James Bond
Just to name a few.
The first thing that needs to happen is to find a venue big enough to hold all of the attendees, has some charm, and doesn’t take the whole budget. Easier said then done. Then using the remaining part of the budget, trying to fit in… jaw dropping décor, tables, centerpieces, check in, coat check, food stations, drink stations, entertainment, DJ, and photos. Don’t forget that it will take 3 times longer to set up then it is to take down. Relying on a professional to assist you and get advice from to create an amazing night that you’ll remember forever, is by far going to be your life saver.
