When planning your wedding, plan the entertainment well to ensure the guests aren't bored

Your wedding is a really important moment in your life – and the way your guests feel while celebrating with you will reflect just how great you feel yourself.  Of course, your dress, the décor and all the other details are all essential for you – but your wedding entertainment is equally crucial as well.

 

How to ensure have a genuine good time at your wedding? How to make sure they do not get bored in any way? We have some ideas for you…

  • Create a great seating chart.  This may seem like a boring task – but, in reality, it can truly make or break the entire Big Day. After all, the last thing you want is tables filled with people who do not know each other, who do not get along with each other or simply who are too awkward to talk to each other. Put some effort into that seating chart and it will pay off!

 

  • Stick to the planned timing. You may feel tempted to extend certain parts of the wedding over the initial timing (e.g. make the wedding toasts longer, so that nobody gets offended). Yet, if you choose to do this, do make sure you don’t extend anything for too long – guests can get bored very easily and bringing them back into the party mood is not easy at all.

  • Let them be entertained. And by that we mean really entertained. Bring in an amazing DJ or band and, if possible, hire extra-entertainers too – such as dancers, caricaturists, photo booth services, and so on. Believe us, they will make all the difference in the world!

  • Sweeten things up.  We are genetically designed to love sweet treats – and your wedding is a good reason for people to indulge in dessert.  Think beyond the classic cake, though! Provide guests with fun doughnut bars, S'mores & hot chocolate bars, truffles & petite fours bar your guests will absolutely love it.

  • Relax.  A tense bride or an anxious groom – now, that’s an image that tends to make people feel uncomfortable.  So, for your own sake and for your guests’ good time, relax yourselves and have fun.  The best way to do this is to bring on a month of coordinator to handle all of the last minute details and the orchestrate the day for you so you can have fun with your family & friends.   This is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of event – don’t spoil it by being stressed out at anything!
